Services and Rates
Hands-on work - Includes
consultation when necessary by phone or e-mail at no extra charge.
Lessons - $45 for a half an hour, $60 for an hour, my horse
or yours, plus mileage for off-property (Wednesdays only, by appt.).
If you are looking for a long-term instructor, I insist that you
come and watch me school/teach so that you are familiar with my
methods. If I cannot assist you, or if I honestly feel that someone
else local to us would serve you better, I will gladly refer you to
someone else. I do currently have limited openings for long-term
students, as always – first come, first served.
Monthly Lease – $650. Our schoolmasters are available for a
monthly lease on the months when we do not offer Study Hall. Our
horses must remain here in our care, so one could not lease the
horse and take him home or to another barn.
Daily Care - $60 per day for first 5 days, then $45 per day
thereafter. All inclusive except supplements. (No extra charge for
hands-on work, training, or blanketing, etc…) We are set-up for
rehabs and lay-ups, these rates are intended for lay-ups and rehabs.
We will gladly coordinate and implement programs from any of our
local Equine Vets, or Leesburg or New Bolton Center, to the best of
our ability.
Training Rates - are tailored to best suit my schedule, the
needs of the horse, and the goals of the owner for the horse. If you
think you want to send me your horse to work with, I insist that you
come and watch me work my own horses.
We are not currently accepting boarders but are happy to help you by
referring you to other area barns who do accept boarders. |
